Marty Langenberg is a retired teacher and administrator. His first book was published on Amazon in October 2017. The Pennie Irvine Series currently consists of 4 books, namely: Pennie, The Baby Farm, The Paris Connection, and The Bridge Motel.

Learning, By Degrees, features Dan Irvine and is an off-shoot of the Pennie Irvine series. A follow-up book is on the way.

His latest book is Sister Louise's War, released in early 2025. Several other books are currently in various stages of completion.

He has also written a number of poems in the Australian Bush Poetry style.
