Navitas Petroleum Development and Production

I’m pleased to announce that I have taken on a new role as Chief Operating Officer Falklands at Navitas Petroleum Limited. I'm excited to join the Navitas team and look forward to moving the Sea Lion project towards first oil!

Good luck. The technical challenges are all solvable, its the political challenges where you will need support. That's what stopped the project the first time around.

Congrats. It would be good to bring Sea Lion to the finish line after two false starts — Premier Oil and (I believe) Rockhopper after. I worked with 2H Offshore on the risers (HOE TLP) nearly 7 month before PO cancelled the project.

Wow! Huge news Ian! Congratulations and I can’t wait to see Sea Lion firing up and getting going. Sea Lion and the area around the asset has so much potential to unlock.

Congratulations Ian. The Sea Lion project is near and dear to my heart as a supplier to Premier Oil on Catcher and then being awarded the SPS on Seal Lion then to see the project get canceled. I am so glad to see it moving forward. A monumental project for The people of the Falklands and the UK!
