Supporting research to find a cure for Prostate Cancer!
Bob was a beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, friend and pillar in the local community. He fought a strong, courageous battle with a rare and aggressive form of prostate cancer over the past 18 months. Bob passed away peacefully on January 17, 2023. Bob gave so much of his time to helping others, including teaching others to fly airplanes and helping new curlers learn the love of the game. He also graciously gave his time to be involved in a research study that is working towards finding a cure for small-cell carcinoma of the prostate. Even in his final days Bob was always wanting to help others in any way he could.
Bob received excellent care from the Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre and was grateful for all the Doctors and staff who cared for and supported him.
In honour of Bob and so many other men affected by prostate cancer we have created this tribute page to encourage donations towards this cause that meant so much to him. Donations will be directed to: provincial Prostate Cancer Research fund (0PRRG001)
Bob will forever be missed by so many!
