Welcome to the 2024 hosting of the biennial UWI/Guardian Life Limited Premium Teaching Award!
The UWI/Guardian Life Limited Premium Teaching Excellence Lecture and Award was established in 2004 following a Memorandum of Agreement between Guardian Life Limited (GLL) and the University of the West Indies (UWI) Mona Campus. The initiative aimed to highlight the significance of outstanding teaching at the UWI by instituting an award that recognised excellence in teaching through the submission of a Teaching Portfolio.
