Faith's Violin Education at Brevard

Hi, my name is Faith Meshida, a fourteen-year-old violinist attending Central Gwinnett High School. Music is an integral part of my life, and I have played the violin since seven. I have been in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra since 2020 and have been accepted into the Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Orchestra for the past two years.

 

I have been admitted to Brevard Music Center’s 2022 High School Orchestral Institute, a summer program in North Carolina, from June 23—to August 7th. While they granted me a partial scholarship, my family cannot afford the rest of the tuition. I would be incredibly grateful to receive financial assistance to support my attendance at Brevard. While I require $4,250, any donations would be appreciated.

 

I strongly desire the opportunity to attend Brevard. Attending the program would expedite my musical development through participating in orchestral and chamber music ensembles and receiving coaching from renowned musical artists. Unfortunately, I have never been able to attend a summer music program due to financial obligations. I would greatly value being offered the financial aid required for my time at Brevard.
